so i have an emg 89, and its basically an emg 85 with a coil tap. I really don't want to use the push pull switch, and i even have an extra toggle. Can any one tell me what each of the wires does?
Also does any one know could i hook up my pickup so the single coils can be switched from parallel to series?
my gear:
Jackson Roads Pro
Gibson Explorer Pro
Fender American P-bass
Squire P-bass
Fender rumble 300 bass amp
Peavey 6505 head

Go to EMGs web site and look under wiring diagrams for the 89. Dont think you can do the series parallel with 89s tho.
