I couldn't help but smile as I sat passenger side
In an '07 Accord. I think anyone would've done the same.
There was some girl screaming about love over the radio;
It only added to the euphoria.
It was a verse, clearly.
"John, turn that song up. I'm really feeling it."
And John would laugh and start fiddling with the built in EQ.
Bass at 10. The only way to go.
Rich would drum his fingers across the half-open window.
He was the impatient one. The guy who always asked for more.
Even though he already had everything.
Will, good old Will. He was the fourth and final. He was off in the backseat.
His hat had fur on it. No one really knew why.
It was the middle of summer.
No one asked; The quirks made him what he was.
"John, I told you to turn up that song."
Suddenly I realize I'm in the parking lot of a 7-11 behind the wheel of a Civic.
In retrospect, my childhood was tasteless.

This is a cool way to set the scene

"John, turn that song up. I'm really feeling it."
And John would laugh and start fiddling with the built in EQ.
Bass at 10. The only way to go.
Screw that.

Rich would drum his fingers across the half-open window.
He was the impatient one. The guy who always asked for more.
Even though he already had everything.
Will, good old Will. He was the fourth and final. He was off in the backseat.

That's pretty cool, how you described all the little things that you notice about people... Almost made me think of Catcher in the Rye, maybe you know what I mean?

Suddenly I realize I'm in the parking lot of a 7-11 behind the wheel of a Civic.
In retrospect, my childhood was tasteless.
The ending kind of left me hanging, i think that's what you were intending. The very last line felt almost like you were laughing at me in a sarcastic way or something

The one thing that confused me about this was the title. I was thinking there was gonna be a horrible car accident where some dude named Evan lost both of his arms. And then I realized that none of the people you described were Evan, and I was looking too much into it.

Here's mine if you feel like critting.
