Just wondering, cause every cheapish guitar is a dreadnought, it seems it's dreadnought unless your a specialist. How could one body type gain such a monopoly?

It's cheap and gets the job done? And cheap and effective really sells and gets out there if on a market like acoustics.

it's the same with e-guitars every < 200$ guitar is a strat clone.

I think it's becouse they are played by a lot of famous people and so a lot of people buy them.

Thank C.F. Martin & Co. for this one. They invented the dreadnought and their D-28 is one of the most copied guitars of all-time.
