Hi,
I'm thinking to mod my guitar with a couple of push pull pots. Problem is that I have never worked one before.

My guitar has HxH with 3-way toggle switch setup and I'm thinking of wiring one push/pull pot to each pickup to split them individually. That would give me 8 combinations in total. My friend said it's not possible but I don't really believe him.

Also, I want to have one pot as tone control (or volume. Not decided yet) for both pickup. That is, pull up for neck tone, push down for bridge tone. Would this work?
Basically I am looking for a Les Paul system with just one knob for both pickups. That is to be able to use both pickup with individual tones adjustments at the same time.

how are you going to split 2 humbuckers 8 times with only 2 knobs

1: Bridge / Split Bridge
2: Bridge + Neck / Split Bridge + Neck / Both Split / Bridge + Split Neck
3: Neck / Split Neck

That's 8, rite? that is, if i can split each pickup individually.
