Well, my lovely Laney now makes this incredibly shrill noise on high gain settings doing stuff like unison bends (tone keeps cutting in and out really quickly), has become generally incredibly trebly, and one of the Power amplifier tubes no longer lights up, so I'm assuming that a blown tube is the cause of my problem. Simple enough.

However, I don't understand much about tubes, so when one goes, do I replace all of the tubes in the amp (Pre-amp and power-amp tubes) or just the power-amp ones? Bear in mind that I now want to switch to JJ6L6's, so all four need to come out regardless. I'd get a pro to do this, as I don't know enough about biasing etc...

Any help appreciated.

You only really need to switch the Power Amp tubes out, but i'd get the tech to do it if you're messing with the tube Bias. (unless you've done it before)
