Okay... I'm looking for replacement speakers for my cabs because they have a very warm bluesy/classic rock voicing and I'm looking for more of a metal tone.

I heard that mixing Celestian Vintage 30's with speakers that have a higher wattage rating sounds better than just 4 V30's (Two of one speaker on top and two on the bottom or placing them in an "X" pattern).

I'm thinking of getting some V30s and mixing them with the Texas Heats because I'm torn between them. Would there be any negatives to doing this?

I have no idea but I have just ordered a V30 and a Texas Heat to put in my Valveking 212. Hopefully it should sound great

Mixing anything usually sounds way better in the world of guitars. Just make sure that they're rated the same in ohms.
