So I've got the chance of buying an old Marshall Lead 12 from the 80's with an Encore strat copy for £60.

I know Encores suck, my mate had one and the bridge fell out during a band practice but I've heard great things about these amps, am I getting a good deal and do you think I should go for it?

Thanks

Chances are that if the amp doesn't work you could still sell bits and pieces from for at least 60 pounds (sorry,no pounds sign on my keyboard).

just buy the amp?

I don't have a guitar to use it with, I'd buy a new one soon enough, the Encore would just be temporary.

The amp does work. So if it's worth £60 in parts it's definitely worth at least £60 in full working order and I'm getting a good deal right?
