Hey people the time has finaly come. I know I asked around before and annoyed you about this but this time i have only two options and wanna hear your opinions.

With this guitar i would like to play stuff like Deep Purple, Foo fighters, Audioslave (I have the effects neccesary), Queens of the Stone age, and possibly some metallica (not neccesary can just use my LP).

My two choices are:

http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/Epiphone-Firebird-Studio-Guitar?sku=519377

They're about the same price in my country :S

Definitely the Firebird. Just looking at specs, Mahogany > Basswood, fixed bridge > cheap LFR and pickups are most likely better on the Epi.

I'd say go for the Firebird. The LTD is geared for metal.

And I thought you need a baritone guitar for QOTSA.

Haven't really thought so much about playing QOTSA so don't quote me on that, just said it so there's a general understanding of what i'd like to play
