I sometimes wear the ordinary black low tops. With normal lacing style though. And ergonomic soles.

i wear size fifteen, so i cant wear them.
when my feet were smaller ( like size 12), they still looked like clown shoes

No better than any other cheap shoe on the market, excep tif your under 25 you look desperate to fit in and if your over 25 you look desperate to look over 25.

Also,

Every single part of chuck taylor's body is a lethal weapon. He is thus unable to enter many american states as his pancreas counts as a concealed weapon.

I dont like having to tie them every time I put them on and they arent very comfortable. I prefer my big padded skate shoes.

Terrible shoe. Converse used to be good when they were cheap.

Unlucky.

They're still pretty cheap where I live.

Nah, I had a pair of adidas originals, did one cross-country run in them (this was, by the way, neccesiated (sp?) by circumstance) and they were ruined. My Vans No-Skools, on the other hand, have survived numerous escapades and their only real battel wounds are neon green paint all up one side of the left trainer.

with suede adidas?

Theres no way I'd do cross country with my adidas londons or spezials, I'd rather do it barefoot.
