what are you trying to do?

put this in the R&R forums, more people will be familiar with FL studio and how to use it there.

You don't have a VST Instrument selected to play the midi file.

You need soundfonts.
Download soundfonts, put them in your soundfont folder.
apply soundfont to said midi track.
press play.
record in edison.
Read the manual how to work the edison.
You're not going to find any help in this fourm

This works for me:

Go into the Mixer.
Add a new effect named "Fruity LSD".
Change the MIDI Input Port Number to 0.

That will make the midi play out, but it's still just midi instruments. I can't be sure it'll work for you, but it does for me.
