itunes has lost all my music. when i opened it up today it was like opening it for the first time, all the playlists and tracks had gone :s
all the music is still on my computer in the same place, just itunes has disappeared stuff...
all the playlists and playcounts are still on my ipod but i can't work out a way of getting them onto my computer, it defaults to trying to erase my ipod
any help?

FIRST:
go to edit > preferences(or options or something) > turn sync OFF

SECOND:
file > import folder > select folder with all of your music in it, huge time saver

Yep. If that doesn't work, restart your computer. Or just select a load of files that are in your itunes folder, that works for me.
