I know its a very simple song, but when Chasing Cars by Snow Patrol builds up into the final chorus, there is one line that gives me shivers everytime.

"All that I am,
All that I ever was,
Is here in your perfect eyes,
They're all I can see"

Bleed down to the ****ing core
You're going down for ****ing more
Screw your slimy guts
Driving me ****ing nuts!

Chainsaw in my bleeding hands
As I start to cut you in two
Your guts are steaming out
And I just love the sight!

Maggots crawling in her ****
I just love to lick that ****
Bury you in a slimy grave
You will rot forever there!

I don't know what it is, but something about chainsaw guts**** makes my insides tingle. i feel like i can really relate to the lyrics.

cool thread idea, I've been listening to a lot of progressive stuff lately and the lyrics get overshadowed by the instruments but lately Between the Buried and Me's lyrics from Colors seem really great. My favorite being White Walls
The monsters are made,
and we have proven that we will be one of them.
The *****s take the stage...flash our skills...
gotta draw 'em in...gotta keep 'em on their toes...
don't show them how you truly are...who would want honesty...
who would want a group of people that one can relate with.
We need worship, we need devotion...
becoming gods from the image that is thrown...
thrown out in their everyday lives to comfort...
it's not a musical journey anymore...
they chose Camilla and we stood by her the entire time...
monotonous expression...a forced replica of a tired sound...
puppets for a greed-driven carnival...
the same charade as the passing years...
force me out there. Don't give them a chance.
They want to be fed...fed a simple replication of past greatness.
(Things have changed...we have changed.
Personal happiness is what we strive to achieve...
so you can love or hate...it won't change a thing for us.)

Step back. Evaluate. Recognize.

We just need to throw some new ideas in...
(It) will eventually get out of this closed off circle we are part of...
it's all the same.
This is all we have when we die.
It's what's left of us when we die.
We will be remembered for this.

White wall.

The bold lyrics are my favorite. On some interview they said that basically the song was about their Ozzfest experience, they were given a 30 minutes slot w/some scene bands and if anyone knows BTBAM they know that 30 minutes is enough for barely five of their songs. The whole idea that this is their life work and their creation, that need to be recognized for it, I can definitely relate to that.

The next song is a classic that I feel is under-appreciated when compared to the rest of the artists songs, Jimi Hendrix's Castles Made of Sand

Down the street you can hear her scream "you're a disgrace"
As she slams the door in his drunken face,
And now he stands outside and all the neighbours start to gossip and drool.

He cries "Oh girl, you must be mad,
What happened to the sweet love you and me had?"
Against the door he leans and starts a scene,
And his tears fall and burn the garden green.

And so castles made of sand, fall in the sea, eventually.

A little Indian brave who before he was ten, played war games in
the woods with his Indian friends, and he built a dream that when he
grew up, he would be a fearless warrior Indian Chief.

Many moons passed and more the dream grew strong, until tomorrow
He would sing his first war song,
And fight his first battle, but something went wrong,
Suprise attack killed him in his sleep that night

And so castles made of sand, melts into the sea eventually.

There was a young girl, whose heart was a frown,
Because she was crippled for life, and couldn't speak a sound
And she wished and prayed she would stop living, so she decided to die.
She drew her wheel chair to the edge of the shore, and to her legs she smiled

"You won't hurt me no more."
But then a sight she'd never seen made her JUMP AND SAY
"Look, a golden winged ship is passing my way"
And it really didn't have to stop...it just kept on going.
And so castles made of sand slips into the sea,
Eventually

-I dunno even know what to say about this song, the whole thing is beautiful

In the second verse of Lamb of God's "Omerta" there are a couple lines that paint an absolutely chilling picture for me.

"Mouth full of dirt your name is removed from the registry,
St. Peter Greets with empty eyes then turns and locks the gate."

Imagine making the journey all the way to the gates of Heaven and then being turned away for sins you had thought were left behind on your path to righteousness. The though of receiving an empty stare from St. Peter at the gates of heaven is an image that chills me to the bone.

Michael Jackson - Thriller. Wait, it wasn't the lyrics that touched me...

ok, bad joke, I know.

Seriously, all of Dark Side of the Moon. Here's a sample:

Ticking away the moments that make up a dull day,
you fritter and waste the hours in an offhand way.
Kicking around on a piece of ground in your hometown,
waiting for someone or something to show you the way.

Tired of lying in the sunshine, staying home to watch the rain,
'cause you are young and life is long, and there is time to kill today,
and then one day you find,
ten years have got behind you,
no one told you when to run,
you missed the starting gun.

So you run and you run to catch up with the sun but its sinking,
and racing around to come up behind you again.
The sun is the same in a relative way but you're older,
shorter of breath, and one day closer to death.

Every year is getting shorter, never seem to find the time,
plans that either come to naught or half a page of scribbled lines,
hanging on in quiet desperation is the English way,
the time has gone, the song is over,
thought I'd something more to say...

Bright Eyes - Bowl of Oranges
Makes me feel warm inside. Considering how downbeat Conor's lyrics generally are. Makes me take a step back and realize how trivial my problems are.

The rain, it started tapping on the window near my bed. There was a loophole in
my dreaming, so I got out of it. And to my surprise my eyes were wide and
already open. Just my nightstand and my dresser where those nightmares had just
been. So I dressed myself and left them, out into the gray streets. But
everything seemed different and completely new to me. The sky, the trees,
houses, buildings, even my own body. And each person I encountered, I couldn't
wait to meet. and I came upon a doctor who appeared in quite poor health. I said "there is nothing that I can do for you that you can't do
for yourself." He said "Oh yes you can. Just hold my hand. I think that would
help." So I sat with him a while and then I asked him how he felt. He said, "I
think I'm cured. No in fact, I'm sure. Thank you stranger, for your
therapeutic smile."

So that is how I learned the lesson that everyone is alone. And your eyes must
do some raining if you are ever going to grow. But when crying don't help and
you can't compose yourself. It is best to compose a poem, an honest verse of longing or a simple song of hope. That is why I'm singing... Baby don't worry cause now I
got your back. And every time you feel like crying, I'm gonna try and make you laugh. And if I can't, if it just hurts too bad, then we will wait for it to pass and I will keep you company through those days so long and black. And we'll just keep working on the problem we know we'll never solve of Love's uneven remainder, our lives are fractions of a whole. But if the world could remain within a frame like a painting on a wall. Then I think we would see the beauty then. We would stand staring in awe at our still lives posed like a bowl of oranges, like a story told by the fault lines and the soil.

I'll try find some more, I have a headache now, I can't think.

Cats in the Cradle - Harry Chapin

My child arrived just the other day
He came to the world in the usual way
But there were planes to catch and bills to pay
He learned to walk while I was away
And he was talkin' 'fore I knew it, and as he grew
He'd say "I'm gonna be like you, Dad
You know I'm gonna be like you"

And the cat's in the cradle and the silver spoon
Little boy blue and the man on the moon
When you comin' home, Dad
I don't know when, but we'll get together then
You know we'll have a good time then

My son turned ten just the other day
He said, "Thanks for the ball, Dad, come on let's play
can you teach me to throw", I said "Not today
I got a lot to do", he said, "That's ok
And he walked away but his smile never dimmed
And said, "I'm gonna be like him, yeah
You know I'm gonna be like him"

And the cat's in the cradle and the silver spoon
Little boy blue and the man on the moon
When you comin' home, Dad
I don't know when, but we'll get together then
You know we'll have a good time then

Well, he came from college just the other day
So much like a man I just had to say
"Son, I'm proud of you, can you sit for a while"
He shook his head and said with a smile
"What I'd really like, Dad, is to borrow the car keys
See you later, can I have them please"

And the cat's in the cradle and the silver spoon
Little boy blue and the man on the moon
When you comin' home son
I don't know when, but we'll get together then, Dad
You know we'll have a good time then

I've long since retired, my son's moved away
I called him up just the other day
I said, "I'd like to see you if you don't mind"
He said, "I'd love to, Dad, if I can find the time
You see my new job's a hassle and kids have the flu
But it's sure nice talking to you, Dad
It's been sure nice talking to you"

And as I hung up the phone it occurred to me
He'd grown up just like me
My boy was just like me

And the cat's in the cradle and the silver spoon
Little boy blue and the man in the moon
When you comin' home son
I don't know when, but we'll get together then, Dad
We're gonna have a good time then

Something Corporate - Konstantine

I can't imagine all the people that you know
And the places that you go
When the lights are turned down low
And I don't understand all the things you've seen
But I'm slipping in between
You and your big dreams
It's always you
In my big dreams

And you tell me that it's over
Wake up lying in a patch of four leaf clover
And you're restless, and I'm naked
You've got to get out
You can't stand to see me shaking, no
Could you let me go?
I didn't think so

And you don't want to be here in the future
So you say the present's just a pleasant
Interruption to the past
And you don't want to look much closer
Because you're afraid to find out all this hope
You had sent into the sky by now had crashed
And it did
Because of me

And then you bring me home
Afraid to find out that you're alone
And I'm sleeping in your living room
But we don't have much room to live

I had these dreams in them I learned to play guitar
Maybe cross the country
Become a rock star
And there was hope in me that I could take you there
But dammit, you're so young
Well, I don't think I care
And if I hurt you
Then I'm sorry
Please don't think that this was easy

Then you'd bring me home
Because we both know what it's like to be alone
And I'm dreaming in your living room
But we don't have much room to live

And Konstantine is walking down the stairs
Doesn't she look good
Standing in her underwear?
And I was thinking
What I was thinking
We've been drinking and it doesn't get me anywhere

My Konstantine came walking down the stairs
And all that I could do is touch her long blonde hair
And I've been thinking
It hurts me thinking that these nights when we were drinking
No, they never got us anywhere, no

This is because I can spell confusion with a 'k'
And I can like it
It's to dying in another's arms and why I had to try it
It's to Jimmy Eat World and those nights in my car
When the first star you see may not be a star
I'm not your star
Isn't that what you said
What you thought this song meant

And if this is what it takes
Just to lie with my mistakes
And live with what I did to you
All the hell I put you through
I always catch the clock
It's 11:11
And now you want to talk
It's not hard to dream
You'll always be my Konstantine

My Konstantine, they'll never hurt you like I do
No, they'll never hurt you like I do
No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no

This is to a girl who got into my head
With all the pretty things she did
Hey, you know
You keep me up in bed
This is to a girl who got into my head
With all these ****ed up things I did
Hey, maybe, baby
You could keep me up in bed
My Konstantine
You spin around me like a dream
We played out on this movie screen
And I said
Did you know I missed you?
Did you know I missed you?
Did you know I missed you?
Did you know I missed you?
Did you know I missed you?
Did you know I missed you?
Did you know I missed you?
I miss you

And then you bring me home
And we'll go to sleep, but this time not alone, no, no
And you'll kiss me in your living room
I know
You'll miss me in your living room
Because these nights I think maybe that
I'll miss you in my living room
We don't have much room
I said does anybody need that room?
Because we all need a little more room
To live

Crazy Town - Change

I wanna run but if i run
Im only running from myself
Would it be easier if i was someone else?
Im like a child playing with matches
Thats never been burned
Relearning all the lessons that ive already learned
On a highway
To a destination ive earned
So many exits
But I never bothered to turn
Im like a piece of shard glass
Layin on the frame
Of a window that was broken by the bricks of pain
Sometimes i feel just like the devils guinhea pig
Hes watchin me just to see how deep i can dig
I admit im ****ed up and got a lot to learn
So im dancin in the ashes of the bridges ive burned

^Konstantine = Win

Absolute favourite song in the world.

Another good set of lyrics is:

She keeps looking up and says,
"The sky is assembling an army."
I hold her closer and push her hair out of her face.
"There's nothing to fear unless
they start shooting."
And I remember why this cold was worth your kisses.

"Don't you think it's a pretty night to watch your own breath?"
So I open my mouth and blow into the frost
to let out all the ghosts.

It is a good song when you hear it...

Old Man - Neil Young

Old man look at my life,
Im a lot like you were.
Old man look at my life,
Im a lot like you were.

Old man look at my life,
Twenty four and theres so much more
Live alone in a paradise
That makes me think of two.

Love lost, such a cost,
Give me things that dont get lost.
Like a coin that wont get tossed
Rolling home to you.

Old man take a look at my life Im a lot like you
I need someone to love me the whole day through
Ah, one look in my eyes and you can tell thats true.

Lullabies, look in your eyes,
Run around the same old town.
Doesnt mean that much to me
To mean that much to you.

Ive been first and last
Look at how the time goes past.
But Im all alone at last.
Rolling home to you.

Old man take a look at my life Im a lot like you
I need someone to love me the whole day through
Ah, one look in my eyes and you can tell thats true.

Old man look at my life,
Im a lot like you were.
Old man look at my life,
Im a lot like you were.

Ten Years Gone - Led Zeppelin. The emotion that Plant sings this song with blows me away.

Then as it was, then again it will be
An though the course may change sometimes
Rivers always reach the sea
Blind stars of fortune, each have several rays
On the wings of maybe, down in birds of prey
Kind of makes me feel sometimes, didnt have to grow
But as the eagle leaves the nest, its got so far to go

Changes fill my time, baby, thats alright with me
In the midst I think of you, and how it used to be

Did you ever really need somebody, and really need em bad
Did you ever really want somebody, the best love you ever had
Do you ever remember me, baby, did it feel so good
cause it was just the first time, and you knew you would

Through the eyes an I sparkle, senses growing keen
Taste your love along the way, see your feathers preen
Kind of makes makes me feel sometimes, didnt have to grow
We are eagles of one nest, the nest is in our soul

Vixen in my dreams, with great surprise to me
Never thought Id see your face the way it used to be
Oh darlin, oh darlin

Im never gonna leave you. I never gonna leave
Holdin on, ten years gone
Ten years gone, holdin on, ten years gone

Konstantine is a freaking amazing song.

Snow Patrol - Run
This whole song is amazing, but what really makes me shiver is
"To think I might not see those eyes
Makes it so hard not to cry
And as we say our long goodbye
I nearly do"

Also, Incubus - Echo
"There's something about the look in your eyes
Something I noticed when the light was just right
It reminded me twice that I was alive
And it reminded me that you're so worth the fight"

I really do have a lot more of absolutely gorgeous songs, but i've been listening to these two lately a lot.

Good morning
Don't cop out
You crawled from the cancer to land on your feet
Are you crazy to want this
Even for a while?
We're making this **** up
The reasons for being are easy to pay
You can't remember the others
They just kind of went away
So you're driving, it's rush hour
The cars on the freeway are moving like slugs
When you drift off to wake up
Do you always hit the brakes?

We're done lying for a living
The strange days have come and you're gone
Either dead or dying
Either dead or trying to go

It's evening, you're tired
You sleep walk, a robot out to the street
Are you crazy to want this, even for a while? you're driving, it's rush hour
The cars on the freeway are moving backwards
Into a wall of fire
Backwards
Into a wall of fire

We're done lying for a living
The strange days have come and you're gone
You're gone
Either dead or dying
Either dead or trying to go
Good morning
Don't cop out

Matthew Good Band- Strange Days - From the album Beautiful Midnight

Probably the line that touches me the most is the "are you crazy to want this/ Even for a while?" bit, but when i'm depressed the whole song has a massive impact. It's not overly prosaic with flowery descriptions but it does hit me like a ton of bricks at times.
I did not get my Spaghetti-O's, I got spaghetti. I want the press to know this.

seize the day-avenged sevenfold
Seize the day, or die regretting the time you lost
It's empty, and cold without you here, too many people to Ache over

I see my vision burn, I feel my memories fade with time
But I'm too young to worry
These streets we travel on will undergo our same lost past

I found you here, now please just stay for a while
I can move on with you around
I hand you my mortal life, but will it be forever?
I'd do anything for a smile, holding you 'til our time is done
We both know the day will come, but I don't want to leave you

I see my vision burn, I feel my memories fade with time
But I'm too young to worry (a melody, a memory, or just one Picture)

Seize the day, or die regretting the time you lost
It's empty, and cold without you here, too many people to Ache over

Newborn life replacing all of us, changing this fable we live In
No longer needed here so where do we go?
Will you take a journey tonight, follow me past the walls of Death?
But girl, what if there is no eternal life?

I see my vision burn, I feel my memories fade with time
But I'm too young to worry (a melody, a memory, or just one Picture)

Seize the day, or die regretting the time you lost
It's empty, and cold without you here, too many people to Ache over

Trials in life, questions of us existing here, don't wanna Die alone without you here,
Please tell me what we have is real

So, what if I never hold you, yeah, or kiss your lips again?
Woooaaah, so I never want to leave you, and the memories of Us to see
I beg don't leave me

Seize the day, or die regretting the time you lost
It's empty, and cold without you here, too many people to Ache over

Trials in life, questions of us existing here, don't wanna Die alone without you here
Please tell me what we have is real

Silence you lost me, no chance for one more day [x2 then Continues in the background]

I stand here alone
Falling away from me, no chance to get back home

Gunslinger-avenged sevenfold
Yeah, you've been alone
I've been gone for far too long
But with all that we've been through
After all this time I'm coming home to you

Never let it show
The pain I've grown to know
’Cause with all these things we do
It don't matter when I'm coming home to you

I reach towards the sky I've said my goodbyes
My heart's always with you now
I won't question why so many have died
My prayers have made it through yeah
’Cause with all these things we do
It don't matter when I'm coming home to you

Letters keep me warm
Helped me through the storm
But with all that we've been through
After all this time I'm coming home to you

I reach towards the sky I've said my goodbyes
My heart's always with you now
I won't question why so many have died
My prayers have made it through yeah
’Cause with all these things we do
It don't matter when I'm coming home to you

I've always been true
I've waited so long just to come hold you
I'm making it through
It's been far too long, we've proven our
love over time’s so strong, in all that we do
The stars in the night, they lend me their light
to bring me closer to heaven with you

(Bring me closer)

But with all that we've been through
After all this time I'm coming home to you

I reach towards the sky I've said my goodbyes
My heart's always with you now
I won't question why so many have died
My prayers have made it through yeah
’Cause with all these things we do
It don't matter when I'm coming home to you

And with all that we've been through
After all this time I'm coming home to you

anything by elliott smith.

my band does some crazy emotional stuff...

'I didnt expect the quiet light of what you are to shine on me.
I didnt see the dawn breaking through the trees, and suddenly
every night i pray for you to *missing from my memory*

Half the day spent trying to find, where to go
all the nights wed lay awake inside
all i ask is all i have, and thats why youre here with me
in a cold dark room your alone, all alone"

another song:

"If you could only hear what i have to say
i would let you know what you mean to me
how youve changed my life, made me who i am
now were older and you dont love me anymore
and the tides have changed, i will let you go,
but before you leave, i just want you to know
that i can move on with a heavy heart
waiting for the day when i wont miss you anymore."

Okay, I noticed this was a deep, touching lyrics thread and no one posted any Paul Simon/Simon and Garfunkel lyrics! WTH?
Selections from "You Can Call Me Al"
A man walks down the street
He says why am I soft in the middle now
Why am I soft in the middle
The rest of my life is so hard....
...A man walks down the street
He says why am I short of attention
Got a short little span of attention
And wo my nights are so long
Where's my wife and family
What if I die here
Lastly,
Who'll be my role-model
Now that my role-model is
Gone Gone
Second, we've got When Angels Sing
at last we meet again, dear God
when the angels sing
The funeral's are nicer, when we know you're there
when the angels sing
sometimes I try so hard to understand the things you do
who am I to question you when it all comes down
when the angels sing
chorus:
stand up strong feel the pain
when the angels sing
love and death don't mean a thing
till the angels sing

the prisoners pray when they're on death row
when the angels sing
the junky cries for love, but its all run out
When the angels sing
the sins of the world, and its cold on the streets when you're all alone
And the tears they start to fall when it all comes down
Hear the angels sing
chorus:
stand up strong feel the pain
when the angels sing
love and death don't mean a thing
till the angels sing
little by little, day by day
I watch the children play
'cause life and death don't mean a thing
till the angels sing

when the angel of death, comes a lookin for me
Hear the angels sing
I hope I was everything I was supposed to be
when the angels sing
There's gotta be a heaven, cause I've already done my time in hell
and a little baby's born, when it all comes down
Hear the angels sing

"castles made of sand slip into the sea eventually" - Castles Made of Sand, Hendrix

"let the music be your master, will you head the master's call?" - Houses of the Holy Led Zep

Under the Bridge - RHCP

all of these are cliched, but Castles and Under the Bridge are beautiful

Saying the Red Hot Chili Peppers have no talent is like saying Guy Fawkes didn't have an epic mustache.

Three days - Jane's Addiction:

Three days was the morning.
My focus three days old.
My head, it landed
To the sounds of cricket bows...

I am proud man anyway...
Covered now by three days...

Three ways was the morning.
Three lovers, in three ways.
We knew when she landed,
Three days she'd stay.

I am a proud man anyway...
Covered now by three days...

We saw shadows of the morning light
the shadows of the evening sun
till the shadows and the light were one.

Shadows of the morning light
the shadows of the evening sun
till the shadows and the light were one... (Up to there mainly)

Yellow Ledbetter - Pearl Jam

Unsealed
On a porch a letter sat
Then you said i wanna leave it again
Once I saw her on a beach of weathered sand
And on the sand I wanna leave it again... yeah
On a weekend I wanna wish it all away yeah...
And they called and I said that I want what I said
And then I call out again
And the reason oughta leave her calm I know
I said i dont know whether
Im the boxer or the bag
Ah yeah ehh....
Can you see them
Out on the porch
But they dont wave
I see them round the front way yeah
And I know I dont want to stay...

I love the part of Bittersweet Symphony by The Verve where it says:

"Well I never pray
But tonight I'm on my knees yeah
I need to hear some sounds that recognize the pain in me, yeah
I let the melody shine, let it cleanse my mind, I feel free now
But the airways are clean and there's nobody singing to me now"

also i love this part of "Look What You've Done" by Jet:

"Take my photo off the wall if it just won't sing for you
cause all that's left has gone away and theres nothing there for you to proof"

and the whole song "Yesterday" by The Beatles

Angelface- Atmosphere

"Pray for you and yours and whoever you believe in more,
Look around you there's angels amongst us,
Sittin' in the rain at some sidewalk cafe,
Half of her wet cigarette in the ash tray,
She's tryin' to find a lost soul to save,
And I'm a lost soul trying to find a road that's paved,
Keep faith in my suitcase, pack my beliefs,
Angels exist, I've even seen some sleep,
I love this ****ing country,
And she loved me more than I could imagine,
So I waited till she slept then I stepped into traffic"

My Madonna by Two Gallants

Your vision's been blessed if I'm still fully dressed.
Before you leave me here's one last request.
No I don't care. No I don't mind. If you don't hear a word from this broke heart of mine.
But can I borrow your face just to unload my mind, borrow your face just to unload my mind.
Well I know I'm pathetic. I'm the sage of absurd.
But I won't violate you with touch, but with words
There's no need to ask. Shut your mouth, raise a glass.
But the youth that you drink to is already the past
And the boy on your arm girl, you know he won't last; the boy on your arm girl, you know he won't last.

My Madonna's undressing. Her robes are all torn.
And I swear that she's calling my name.
But for our caresses my senses are warm.
The feeling is gone and, sweet lady, you just don't taste the same.

And I'll drink just to drive if my love don't arrive.
I don't wanna survive. I don't wanna survive.
And all that I know is I smile just for show.
And nobody's listening but everyone knows.
So just sit back and watch while my memory corrodes, sit back and watch while my memory corrodes.
And I curse my own comfort for the deaf and the blind
Cause it's dark as a dungeon way down in my mind.
And I wake on the floor with my country at war and I wish I could care but my liver's too sore. And if liquor's a lover, you know I'm a *****.
If liquor's a lover, you know I'm a *****.

My Madonna's undressing. Her robes are all torn.
And I swear that she's calling my name.
But for our carresses my senses are warm.
The feeling is gone and, sweet lady, you just don't taste the same.

Sweet Jesus, xghost, someone besides me likes Jet! haha

I was really moved by Sun Child by The Vines.

Sun child, you're a sun child
Awoken by the spirit of the day
Will I grow wild speaking so mild
Forgot about the engine in the rain

Don't let it bring you down
For us that ain't the way
We'll keep our lives reserved
for those who have to pray
But I can't

And What Ever Happened? by The Strokes is great too.

I want to be forgotten
And I don't want to be reminded
You say please don't make this harder
No I won't yet

I want to be beside her
She wants to be admired
You say please don't make this harder
No I won't yet

Oh dear is it really all true?
Did they offend us and they want it to sound new?
Top ten ideas for countdown shows
Whose culture is this and does anybody know?
I wait and tell myself life ain't chess
But no one comes in and yes you're alone

You don't miss me I know

Oh Tennessee what did you write?
I come together in the middle of the night
Oh that's an ending that I can't write cause
I've got you to let me down

I want to be forgotten
and I don't want to be reminded
You say please don't make this harder
No I won't yet

I want to be beside her
She wants to be admired
You say please don't make this harder
No I won't yet

Blissed and Gone by Smashing Pumpkins

the sun has left
the rays are gone
and all the kids have left their tears
and gone home
sweet seventeen
sour twenty-nine
and i can't explain myself
what i hope to find
you were all so kind
when i was near

I'll be back with some more...
