i got my first acoustic guitar not to long ago, and i was wondering is there anyway i could lower the action on it? also when i tune the G string it creaks when i tune up, how do i fix that, thanks
the only way to lower the action on an acoustic is file down the bridge...i think...and it creaks because of the string pulling on the bridge pins of the guitar the string tension in standard tuning is equal to like 20lbs on certain strings and it creaks from the pins pulling just a little bit, as long as it sounds fine then don't worry about it mine creaks too sometimes...i'm sure somone will give you a better answer later and make mine sound retarded but oh well
