I personally believe the Blackheart is beautiful as is
and you might want to use LEDs instead of cold cathode
I actually really want to see this done.

Wheres the light gonna go exactly?
And also, you should do a custtom logo.

I think you need to stop caring what people think about it. I stayed home all day today and masturbated like 5 times. Fucking blast.

Will putting the light in affect the sound of the amp at all?

just buy some raw leds if you want leds, and then drill some holes in like a dowel and glue them in (or even sergical tube if you want it to look more like a cathode). Personally if you have a way of getting power to it i would do a cathode.

Also to make something like that dudes in the vid you would need a couple cathoes. or a lot of leds
my gear:
Jackson Roads Pro
Gibson Explorer Pro
Fender American P-bass
Squire P-bass
Fender rumble 300 bass amp
Peavey 6505 head
Marshall special edition red cab

Good luck. Getting the tolex off will be a pain. Getting the front panel off will likely be a pain. Good luck supplying power to whatever you're using to light it. I think this will be a LOT harder than you're anticipating.
The Laney Thread are big and clever. No exceptions.
