Just as the title suggests, in this thread, you just post memories that you have from when you were a kid.

One of my fondest memories is when I would take my Gameboy Color with my Pokemon Red to my Grandma's house back in the '90s and then I would get my pokedex out on the game, go to a pokemon, and she would draw the pokemon on little pieces of cardboard we made, and then I would write the name at the top of the cardboard piece and then we would make pokemon cards.

Another memory I have is watching my brothers play those crazy games like silent hill, and resident evil, back when I was like in kindergarten down in the basement of our old house (where I have many fond, fond memories of) while playing with the little pokemon I would collect that you got from burger king

sort of like my own little heaven...

then my stepmom came along.

you guys?
Check out my music, if you please.

When I was really little (still in diapers) I would always go to one corner of my living room and shit. No one would know what I was doing until my diaper started to stink, but it was nice knowing I could go to the bathroom anywhere in the house and not worry about a mess

That's the only one I can really think of right now.

When my brother and his friend kicked my Noddy car to pieces whilst I was still in it about the age of 2. Fun f*cking times. Stabbed him in the head with a Batman figure though so I got my revenge.

she thought pokemon was pure evil, so she would look up other people's opinions on it (like she does for metallica lyrics, and yu-gi-oh too) and print them off and, although, shes already seen them, make me read them to her.

Back before I got my own electric guitar I would jam around on my mom's acoustic guitar, and I always learned to play metal songs on there. One of my fondest memories was playing Bulls On Parade to my grandmother and having her say "Oh wow, that's such a beautiful song!" >_> hahah.

Oh god, my childhood was great. I didn't realize how fun it was at the time. Playing Pokemon Red every day after school, (I never could beat the elite four..) trading pokemon cards on the bus, having yu-gi-oh duels on the playground (for the 5 months that yu-gi-oh was cool, anyway.)

Watching Rocko's Modern Life before school, then watching the Looney Tunes on Cartoon Network on weekends. Watching TMNT and playing with my action figures.

Almost every day I'd go over to my neighbor's house, and he'd let me play his video games. I remember the first time I tried Super Mario Bros. 3.

Going on my incredibly slow internet connection (which was NO fun.) and trying to find porn on google images...

Good times.

Whén Pokémon came out for the gameboy. When I first started watching the Simpsons. Going to the old abandoned mansion down the road from me with my friends on the last day of primary school.

Oh man, being a kid in the 90's rocked ass.

So I was building this lego police car, just cobbled together from random pieces. But I thought it was a masterpiece because I was only 5, and I was so proud of it and showed it to everyone and all my relatives were like, "Wow that's great." So to protect it, I left it on top of the TV.

Then my cousin came along. I don't know why he did it. I didn't have any beef with him.

So I watch from across the room as he climbs on the cabinet and gets my car. Looks at it. Then f***ing smashes it on the tiles. And let me tell you I was leaking from the eyes faster than a burst dam. So his parents (my uncle and aunt) get all the pieces and kind of stack them all up in a really weird way. And they say to me, "Look, we fixed it."

I took one look at it and cried harder.

...

...

Wait a minute. That's not fond.

Best summer of my life.

I once stayed at a friend's house (he's 20 now; I'm 14) for two and a half months. Three other guys were living with him (they're 16, 19, and 20 now) that summer too, and all we did the entire time was jam, write, play video games, build cannons and trebuchets, swim, light stuff on fire, eat, watch movies/TV, listen to music, and go out around the city.

When I was five I lived in Hayward, CA, a suburb up in the Bay Area. I remember there was this big area behind the apartments I lived in that hadn't been built over or anything. There were trees all over the place and there were big rocks to climb around on. It was awesome.
There was also a really big nature park a little ways up the road from the apartments that had a bunch of different trails. The further in you went, the better the sights and sounds got. On entry, the place was a grassy yellow field with a couple rusty, broken tractors lying around and a big pond off to the side, but once you got towards the end of the trail you'd start seeing streams and stuff and everything was so beautiful.
There was also Lake Shabo (I'm not sure that's how to spell it, but whatever), as well as this road called Niles River Road that ran next to a creek and some railroad tracks. It was such a scenic road, we used to go there all the time just to relax.

It's a shame there's not much nature down here in SoCal.

Playing Pokemon and watching it. Playing Spyro and Crash Bandicoot, those were amazing! Let's see, I watched Power Rangers a lot, Trick-or-Treating was a lot of fun. I had a strong hate for Nickelodeon and only watched CN most of the time. Those were great years...I just made the cut, by the way I was born in '95.
