I know these threads get old...but nevertheless...i need help..

ive been playing the guitar for 9 years and im starting to play some shows with my band. right now all i have is a 30 watt roland cube and it isnt loud enough at all. Im looking for a tube head and a cabinet for it. I dont need anything over 100 watts and it doesnt need to be too expensive since im only 16..

my band plays music similar to for today, mychildren mybride, stick to your guns, the devil wears prada, sea of treachery, as blood runs black, underoath, emmure, norma jean, august burns red, etc..so like..metal, metalcore, hardcore, deathcore, etc...

im lookin to pay somewhere in the $1,000 USD range for the head..any ideas?

i say you get a single rectifier tube combo, down the road you can get a cab for the combo if you want.
they go for like 800 or 1000 used.
I believe the only diffrence between rectifiers is just wattage and the amount of channels, ,other than that youll be fine heres a good one.

this is a good one its not a combo but for an extra bill you can get a used avatar cab

The single rectifier also only has... one rectifier.

Idk how big an issue that is to people though. Some players prefer tube to solid state rectifiers and vice versa.
