i have decided that it is about that time again.

looking for a good rock guitar, like kind of jimmy page-ish tone wise

there is an american telecaster over at the local shop for $650 (used)
i like the feel of it, but i wanted to know if there was something better suited for my needs

ive got a budget of up to 1000 USD

That tele would probably do if you can get close to his tone on your amp. For Zeppelin lots of the recordings he used his tele. Either that or get a high end Epiphone Les Paul. How is that G&L working with you? Those guitars are ****ing awesome.

I like my American Deluxe Tele, but I also like my LP so the tele would be good but so would a high end epiphone
