I wouldn't call what we have here on the Bass Forum a mentality. It's more like the sharing part of an AA meeting.

I'm pretty sure that would be "Day In, Day Out" by Streetlight Manifesto. I actually haven't learned a lot on bass for a while, now that you mention it.
Quote by Yerjam
Could be, but the most important thing to remember is that it wasn't your fault, even if it was.

The Slackers - Married Girl
The Specials - Gangsters
Streetlight Manifesto - As the Footsteps Die Out Forever

Working on Fishbone's Party at Ground Zero. I can play the intro but haven't gotten deeper in. I think this one is going to be a doozy.

I'm trying to come up with a bassline for my main band's new song right now, and learned a bunch of songs for this other band yesterday. Helping out an old friend by jamming while he looks for new bass player, and increasing my musical knowledge and expanding my horizons at the same time.

Last cover I learned was Friday on my Mind by the Easybeats.

I've been learning that Primus cover of Master of Puppets, started like half an hour ago and I'm currently having a working lunch while I learn it.

I played some Rage songs today, Bombtrack and Know Your Enemy. I use 'em to warm up.

RATM is perfect for warming up but still having very fun music!

Dancing In the Moonlight by Thin Lizzy. Not hard, but nice to play.

Thats an awesome song to learn, one of my favourite songs ever its so easy but so cool.

The last I learnt was The Seeker by The Who to jam with a couple of mates, really easy but really fun. Last song I played was Bombtrack by Rage, again just to warn up.
Down from the Glen came the Marching Men
With their sheilds and their swords
