I haven't a clue but it definitely looks old. I love those headstocks - never seen one on a bass though.....

it looks quite similar to my bass (gsr 200) but its definatley older. not the same.

Yeah, I'm helping a friend who isn't registered on UG - i told him it's really similar to GSR200 - except headstock and pots.

In that case it was made in Fujigen (Japanese) in 1987 and it's the 24257th guitar of that run!
