So, this is probably the first song I've ever sat down to put any effort into. This is also my first post on the forum, enjoy.

Every conversation sounds the same today
Another noise or apology
“I’m sorry”
What’s wrong with me?
Should have turned the other way
But, I'll take the blame from you
We’ll hide the truth
That will bury us beneath
Her sweet perfume

And we, we
follow the light of a limp cigarette
past the places where once we played
and now the trees are all hollowed out
and trampled to the ground
on which we laid

And now our wrists are split for one last chance
to leave the ground with pouring eyes
Climbing high
I soar, you fly
We revolve around this aching dance
So, go up till you green out
You’re shining as you sing out
The words to our song
Which once was ours

Now she’s on your chest and you call her babe
another night to take your soul
She blew the coke across the table
and pulled you down the rabbit hole
I’m on your shoulder, forgetting your name
Turning my face away from your mess
Haunting your bedside, a powdery ghost
Because I’m the devil that you don’t love best

You hold your light like a torch
You burn up to hold back the night
We’ll scatter these pills across our expanses
until the caves of your eyes will fill with light

It is a rather relate-able to me, a badass 12 year old.
