It's the American snes they did cheaper once they released the N64 I believe. Either way it is a snes.

Yup. I've seen 'em. They're actually a bit smaller than the old box, and work just the same. I think they were called "Super Famicons" in Japan.

Well all SNES's were called Super Famicom's, because the original NES was called the Famicom (Family computer).

I think its a fair price, its hold up to 20gb of storage.
