When I play something like this:

-------------10--------
-10-12-13-----13-12

My pinky causes the string to make a noise when I take it off the 13th fret.
I don't have this problem with my other fingers. Is this just because I have less control over my pinky then over my other fingers?
If so, does anyone know some good exercises to train my pinky?

just try to use it a lot...I had same problem with it and my ring finger(cause I cut it once till the bone...and now it's a bit slow and weak...but it works fine now) but I just used them a lot and now I can use them normally.

good exercises me thinks would be chromatics... or even using you little finger for power chords... thats how i gained strength in my pinky at first at least...

isn't he supposed to use his little finger for power chords all the time?

To strengthen my pinky i started using it more for hammer-ons and pull-offs as well as some extreme bending. But also encorporating it into power chords would'nt be a bad idea either.

Thanks for the replies!
I've always used my pinky for power chords. I guess I'll try to strengthen it by doing hammer-ons and pull-offs with it.
