Im looking for a little practice amp that i can carry around with me when I go on vacation. Something small, really light, but not exspensive. I have a budget of 50bucks. I was looking at the Marshall MS-2 but the reviews on here say its really bad. Im looking for one that has distortion, ya know. Good cleans, but also distortion has to play its part as well.
For $50, you're not going to get much.

Maybe try a used Microcube, probably the best you'll get for the cash.

I've had tube amps for a while now, but never actually had any go down on me

maybe you're not saying the right things? an amp likes to know you care.
