I bought a condenser mic that needs phantom power, but I was wondering if there was a simple and cheap method of connecting this mic to my computer so I can record vocals/acoustic guitar.

I'm very new at this, so sorry about my ignorance but could you post any links? Since it requires phantom power, wouldn't i need a pre amp of some sort? Thanks in advance!

something like this and something like this. not necessarily those exact models, but something along those lines....

also, not sure why the xlr converter has a mono 1/4" plug.... (xlr connectors use 3 pins i believe...)
