Hi, guys and girls. I am looking into getting a new amp by the end of this year. I was looking at about 4 different ones. I only play in my bedroom so nothing over about 15 - 20 watts. I also live in Australia so all the prices are about double or triple if they are British prices. I will just use zzsounds as a reference at the moment. I play anything from Blues to Metal. All I am playing at the moment is a Les Paul copy through a Peavey transtube series rage 158.

1. Hughes and kettner Edition Blue 15R, http://www.zzounds.com/item--HUKEB15DFX

2. Vox Valvetronix AD15VT, http://www.zzounds.com/item--VOXAD15VT

3. Roland Cube 20X, http://www.zzounds.com/item--ROLCUBE20X

4. Orange Crush 15R(sorry couldn't find it on the three popular sites, please prove me wrong )

Anyway thats it I guess, if I have forgotten anything please let me know. Thanks in advance.

To be honest I don`t knowthat much about "that-guitar-with-that-amp-is-that-sound" stuff But I have the VoxAD and I`m really satisfied with it. Enough sounds and controllable effects. If you also have a gig sometime you might buy a louder. Check out youtube or musiciansfriend.com for sounds maybe.

Get the AD15VT. It is a seriously awesome practice amp. And it can range from blues to metal (although it can get fuzzy trying to play metal with too much gain on it).

The Vox is probably the best all around amp on the list.
Feel free to call me Kyle.

Just so you know, I read everything you type in a Mike Rowe from Dirty Jobs voice.

I mean in Kyle's case, it is in the best interest of mankind that he impregnate anything that looks at him funny...
