Well, metalcore bands are pretty much the bands that use drop C.
I really don't know any others.
#5
with the exception of bodom, drop c is almost exclusive to metalcore

Yeah, every metalcore band uses drop C.
Some good ones would be Killswitch Engage and As I Lay Dying (as you said).

I also think Bloodsimple play in drop C.
At least in some songs, like Dead Man Walking.
#14
And, I forgot, the entire St. Anger album is in drop C.

System of A Down play in drop Db, gaijin.

Both wrong, St. Anger is in a few different tunings and SoaD played in drop C on every album except mesmerize/hypnotize..

Uh...Children of Bodom isn't Black Metal. Bands that are Black Metal like Darkthrone play in Standard. Probably the newer Black metal isn't.
#19
Chilldren of Bodom are Melodic Death Metal. no black metal.
Peavey XXX combo *upgraded screen resistors, Tung-Sol's, and 6L6's*
Schecter Syn Std. * modded, scalloped, and worn*

Just because some of it is doesn't mean you can just say the whole genre is; while it is true that much of the older stuff is you can't say it all is because that's just not true.
