hi guys, im twenty and im finally moving out on my own. basically my parents wont pay for my college and i cant afford it anymore. i already have an associates degree, so i figure ill take a break and try to earn more money by working full time.

this isnt the first time ive moved out, but it is the first time ive done it without anything to fall back on.

i think ive covered everything that i need, but i was just wondering if you guys have any advice. anything that would help me out, thanks!

just take into account how much you're gonna have to spend on **** that you could get for free with your parents
e.g. food
Sig space available, give me some praise

Don't forget that you're going to have bills to pay.

^ Of course you have to pay the overdraft back

I'd hate to live on my own, would be so boring, with people it'd be fine tho.

Find a room mate, makes cost of living drop a bit.

Good luck, anyway.

DON'T GET A CREDIT CARD!!!

I cannot stress this enough. I can't tell you how many people I know who charged everything when they first started out and years later they are still suffocated by debt.

Don't live beyond your means.

I don't know where you live, but I'm in San Diego, California. This is one of the most expensive places in the country and I live a block from the beach. I have friends here who live, on their own, with no credit, off of basically minimum wage. So don't tell me it's not possible.

Enjoy your life and have fun!
