I'm having some sound problems with my G Major. Originally, I put it in the effects loop of my Carvin, and I even used it to bring down the sound level while turning the master to 6 to have what I thought were cranked tones at "bedroom" volume levels...

Now, it completely reduces the sound coming from the amp to near nothing, and this is with the output and input levels all the way.

So I tried running it directly in front of my amp. There's issues where if my volume knob on my guitar is below 7 or so, there's hardly any sound at all and its random if there is and it's extremely noisy. For example, put on a rotary effect, the sound of the rotary without playing is extremely loud.

Anybody know the deal here? This really sucks, I was depending on this thing to be able to be used without a pedal board.

Dunno man, I really like F minor though. Try that

I actually like F# minor more, but hey, it's a half step away...

There are a couple of different global level settings, make sure you experiment with those.

What in gods name are you guys talking about?

We are talking about the G Major, a rackmount multi effects unit made by TC Electronic.
