Already having a Hagström Swede, I decided I wanted to start saving up for a new guitar.
Needless to say, I will be trying all the recommendations out before making a purchase, but I was mainly wondering what guitar you would recommend for a different playing experience?
With my Swede i mostly play punk and punk rock, but I was thinking of starting to expand into very simple metal/blues.
I'm a pretty new player, so nothing too complicated.

But yeah, suggestion are appreciated.

The Swede is a Gibson based design I believe so why not go for a Strat based design next for a different feel/sound. Ibanez, Sheckter, Charvel, of course Fender are good exapmles of this.
Moving on.....

I'm an idiot and I accidentally clicked the "Remove all subscriptions" button. If it seems like I'm ignoring you, I'm not, I'm just no longer subscribed to the thread. If you quote me or do the @user thing at me, hopefully it'll notify me through my notifications and I'll get back to you.

I'll have to put the Classic T models on my to-try list. Shame the finish options there are Anachronism Gold, Nuclear Waste and Aged Clown, because in principle the plaintop is right up my alley.

Presumably because the CCF (Combined Corksniffing Forces) of MLP and Gibson forums would rise up against them, plunging the land into war.

Sorry about my lack of replies.
I don't really have a set price range yet, but nothing too over the top.
I play through a Roland Cube 60.

i'm sticking to my pacifica suggestion. make sure it's at least the 112V; if you can afford a 412, 612, or even 812, though, by all means go for it (if you try them and prefer them to the 112v- i've only tried the 812 and 112v, and the 812 is a pretty major step up in terms of quality).

Alright, thanks for your suggestions.
I'll be checking them out, along with a few hollowbodies.
