Ok, Its not necessarily a T-bird but, It has the same sort of shape body and IMO looks hella better.
Anyone have any idea what this bass is?
I found this picture on someone's myspace.

Is there such a thing as a heavy riff with out chugging on the e string?

I will always say that if you are desperate for the T-bird shape, get the Spector Rex Brown sig. Spector have a very high work ethic, and will not release a bass with huge inherant flaws like the Gibson version.

The Tokai I played was nicer than the Gibsons and Epiphones I've played, it still had the same basic flaws such as poor upper fret access but made up for it in value for money, build quality and sound.

The Tokai is an Alder body with a set Maple neck. The pickups seem to be a little further back, but that's just me guessing as I can't be bothered to look at a picture of a Gibson.

Just to clarify, i know it isnt a T-bird, hence the reason i said it isnt necessarily a T-bird.
And i dont really want a t-bird, im just interested onto your thoughts on the looks of this bass and if anyone knows the make and model of this bass.
If you havent got anything good to say, dont say anything at all

There isn't a rex brown sig. He just endorses their ROX series.

You know that doesn't look a thing like the T-Bird, right? It's bottom half is that of an Explorer, not a T-bird, period.
