If you're learning something on guitar pro just do what I do and change the tuning. I use my Jackson most of the time and it has a floyd rose so I can't change the tunings constantly like my others... :O

some behemoth songs
decade of therion, ****ing awesome song
Not too related, but something interesting to say, opeth's ghost of perdition song is in open Dm tuning, playing all the chords open gives you a D minor, fun song to play and to improve your playing

You can do the same thing (change pitch without changing tempo) with an .mp3 or .wav file in Audacity or other audio editing program.
ESP KH-2
Washburn X50 Pro FE
ESP LTD M-107
Yamaha Pacifica 112
Marshall 8100 "Valvestate" Head

I use this plug in for Winamp called Pacemaker. You can change a song's tempo, pitch or speed at any time. Much less hassle.
