Ok so I managed to string and tune my guitar to this tuning because I wanted to play Get Out of My Yard by Paul Gilbert.

Any of you know any other songs that can be played or is actually played with this tuning?

haha i was going to say get out of my yard when i saw the thread title, but i have no clue really.

im pretty curious to see if there are any other songs that use it.

also didnt gilbert just have 3 e strings on ?

I was told to replace the open g string with a low e string, and the open b string with a d string, and the high e stays. And it worked

yeah so he could do arpeggios or sumthin easier, idk i saw sumthin lyk that online.

On his more recent three string work he only has three strings on the neck.

Before that he used a seven string with three strings in octaves and the rest in standard intervals:
