I want to replace both pickups in my Epiphone SG Special. Do I want them to be F-Spaced or Regular?

4. Open the folder "Media."
5. Click on the file "onestop."

Regular, but I'd just save up for a new guitar. There's a reason why your SG Special doesn't sound good.

A lot of the problem being that the pickups are bad? You know, you can always take a pickup OUT of a guitar.

I guess I'll be the one to ask: What amp are you using? The amplifier is where most of your tone comes from. Depending on that amp, your pickup switch may not even make that much of a difference.

Indie stands for Industrial I think, like Marilyn Manson.

Ibanez RG2EX2 (Dimarzio Breed in bridge)
Epiphone Les Paul 100
Laney LV300T
Line 6 Toneport GX

Fair enough. But I put a DiMarzio Super Distortion in my Les Paul Special II when I had a Crate FTX30. The tone was still horrid.

Then came the time for me to upgrade my amp to a ValveKing 112 and it still sounded terrible.

I wasted my money, I'm trying to get TS to not spend his.

It's not my only guitar. I have a Gibson, its just I want to improve my old one. I'm using a blackheart 5w tube amp. I want it to put a DiMarzio Super 3 in it, but it only comes in f-spaced.

f-spacing on pickups will put the polepiece wider than your strings.
the outer strings won't be directly over the polepieces.
not that big of a deal, really.
how about X2Ns instead?
or you might find something you like from GFS for a much lower price.
