Just bought a fast track USB and tried to install the vista drivers from the m-audio site, but the installation hangs on

"m-audio fast track USB is configuring your new software installation"

Anyone have any clues?

Were you running vista with service pack 1?

I am, and i think there might be a problem with the drivers not working for SP1.

Be sure and disable any anti virus or anti spyware programs. The M-Audio driver install makes changes to your registry so anything that blocks that (like AdAware etc) will cause it to hang.

Close any extra programs and system tray programs that are running.

Ensure that you've downloaded the latest version, and are not using the one from the CD.
