I saw beyond what is commonly seen, beyond the glory and fame
I delved down deep, to deep to stand and saw bitter reality
Its not that I no longer have faith, I do
Its just that I can’t help but ask, how can I look up to you

It seems a sin to spit in the well from which such inspiration was drawn
It hardens my heart and strains my mind, I want to be forgiving
But can the noble good outweigh the dreadful bad
Oh why did Jude hang out with Paul, and not grow up with dad

Its funny how easily the mind is swayed
How a little knowledge makes a world of difference
The admiration still remains but the respect has sadly dwindled
I still hope your vision is reached, but some things will stay the same

As I think hard about the awful deed, a revelation has occurred
You did your best to make things right, once maturity had set in
At the time you were much to young
Not yet ready to stare into the eyes of a son

Though not excused you are forgiven, from the criminal neglect you bore
It feels much too harsh to hold a grudge, after all your only human
You had your flaws like all of us do
But deep down inside, your virtues were true

Its funny how easily the mind is swayed
How a little knowledge makes a world of difference
The admiration still remains but the respect has sadly dwindled
I still hope your vision is reached, but some things will stay the same

Pretty good I like the whole storyline of the song it really progresses well but one thing is theres alot of message and big words. I just wonder how singable it is but overall very nice.

Keep it up.
