I just got my Mass 100 delivered and i wired it the right way, put it to 8 ohms for my amp, and turned on my amp. All the controls work, but everything is SO QUIET, like super whisper quiet, and when i press the bypass switch on it, the volume is still the same, really quiet.

I emailed Ted Weber, asking for help, im hoping its a defective model

Er...did you connect it to the speaker?
Sounds dumb, but I've seen people do it.

If it wasnt connected to the speaker how would it make any sound at all?

Ok, i unplugged everything and plugged it back in again, i think its definitely defective.
Now everything is as loud as the amp is normally and the volume control on the Weber makes no difference, and when i press the bypass switch it makes the tone all muffled and fuzzy, just horrible.

i take it your cables are good? and you have the amp turned up? daft question but you never know other than that i cant see why you wont get much sound from it, so it does sound to me like its faulty, if these guys only make them when ordered dont the test them first?

Well after 2 hours of playing with my amp cranked, it works now.

Mr. Weber explained that grease can cause interference on wires when it has not been use, now my amp sounds amazing
