Ok, i've seen many threads on the diffrence between Bronze and Steel strings, but none answer my question directly.
What type of music is bronze for and what kind of music is steel for?

this is off topic but... playing guitar can be a lose lose situation in bed for finger foreplay... long nails on one hand, callouses and peeling skin on the other

Straight Bronze are a great blues sting [they are more mellow]. However they don't last long. By 'steel string' you mean phosphorus bronze which will last a lot longer. Go with Phosphorus bronze I reckon unless you are prepared to change your strings often.

By steel strings I meant actual steel. I talked to one of my friends today about steel or bronze phosphorus and he said steel sounded more crisp and last longer. But my initial question was, What types of music are the strings best for. Suh as "Rock, Metal, Country" I appreciate the help =)
