Hi. Someone should definitely make some sort of a thread about this and sticky it. Anyway my question is how do you practice it? In piano (which I've been playing for 7 years), you always start off with scales, you learn all the chords, and the different variations and you play these for about 5-15 minutes. Then you play the songs in the book according to your level. Sometimes you have a book called a Study Book where the songs are designed to train your fingers in various patterns and stuff.

Now for guitar, all I've been doing is learning a chord here or there and playing random songs. So how do you guys practice guitar?

Practice alternate picking, scales, chords, sweep picking, legato, tapping, bends/vibrato, harmonics and such. Pretty much covers everything.
Let's go back to five billion bpm and see how good i am.
