Anybody have any experience with these hums? They're in the Texas Special Fat Strats and I was wondering how good they are for various forms of rock. From Guns 'n Roses to AC/DC to metal.

Thanks!

It's a vintage pup so it doesn't sustain very long.

Don't talk bollocks.

It's a hot vintage type alnico 2 magnet, it can sustain for ages due to the low magnetic pull.

They're great for rock and blues, but not fantastic for metal as the low end isn't really tight enough.
Actually called Mark!

I'm not talking bollocks, I had one in my SG along with the alnico II pro. I know.

I'm an idiot and I accidentally clicked the "Remove all subscriptions" button. If it seems like I'm ignoring you, I'm not, I'm just no longer subscribed to the thread. If you quote me or do the @user thing at me, hopefully it'll notify me through my notifications and I'll get back to you.

I'll have to put the Classic T models on my to-try list. Shame the finish options there are Anachronism Gold, Nuclear Waste and Aged Clown, because in principle the plaintop is right up my alley.

Presumably because the CCF (Combined Corksniffing Forces) of MLP and Gibson forums would rise up against them, plunging the land into war.
