Yeah so I'm playing my acoustic a lot lately cause the strings on my LP are old and the intonation is crapped out until I replace them.

So I need shred licks to learn that stay on or below the 14th fret. Thanks!

It's not really the money, it's just that there's nowhere within miles of where I live that I can buy guitar strings.

OK I'll order strings online, just to make you happy. So until they get here, do you have any help to offer or are you just trying to piss me off?

Well, shredding on an acoustic is..., I mean, it can be done, but will it sound that good? Meh.

You could learn flamenco stuff... that's more classical guitar, but it could be done...

I don't know about acoustic shredding but you can always improvise. Play around with a bunch of scales and arpeggios.

I've actually been studying classical guitar for quite a while now, I just wanted some mindless fast playing

I think there's some Buckethead that doesn't venture too high, but that may be too crazy for you.

Mind you, you could always... y'know...try to learn slide...
