I searched around various places and read that if I'm going to go wireless, to go for the real deal and not get a cheap POS wirelss for my guitar. I checked musicians friend just to get an idea of what to get, and I came across the Line 6 wireless systems, which everyone I saw seemed to recommend.

My first question is: Is there any difference between the X2 XDR95 and the X2 XDS-Plus besides the fact that one is for a rack and the other isn't?

Actually, looking at the Line 6 site answered my question...

Few more: Any alternatives you'd recommend? Does anyone have any experience with the Line 6 wireless systems?

I have the XDR95 stomp box style wireless that I gig with regularly. It is a great wireless. I have never had any drop in signal and it sounds like a chord connection.
