And the mounting screw's head breaks off. So now, I'm stuck with a headless screw too small for any tap that's not in a $40 dollar kit (I'm quite short on funds). How could I get this out? Yes, I did drill a pilot hole.

Can you drill through the other side and then smack it out with a needle or something?

Then just fill the hole with glue or something?
