i had to resolder the my pickups because some of the joints randomly broke, and now my mid and neck single coils have an outrageous amount of noise.

i believe something is not grounded that is supposed to be. is the volume pot supposed to be grounded? if not can someone list what all is supposed to be grounded.

electronics: hot rail humbucker, cheap single mid, emg hz passive neck, 2 tones, 1 volume, standard strat switch

Everything "soldered" to the back of a pot is grounded.

my seymour duncan wiring diagram is (suprisingly) worthless... your diagram tells me yes the volume pot is supposed to be connected directly to my ground
