What is the reason why a les paul's sustai is much better than an SG's?

The Les Paul has more wood and weight than the SG therefor giving it more sustain.

I think you need to stop caring what people think about it. I stayed home all day today and masturbated like 5 times. Fucking blast.

Totally unrelated: I once played a used Les Paul BFG. The previous owner had changed out the knobs, and they went to eleven. I was like, " Awesome."

My les paul is only a pound or two heavier than my strat, so it doesnt feel a ton different to me. But yeah more wood, more sustain. Gotta love pauls!
