I think that there might have been something like this before but I guess that it died. So here is a new one.

Put some songs on http://muxtape.com/ and post your link here. Maybe we can vote on them and see who has the best one or something.

Here is my bitchin' playlist http://yeahyeah88.muxtape.com/

Basically I just wanna hear some cool new music but I'm too lazy to seek it out myself so you guys can do all the work for me!

There was a thread for this but obviously it was forgotten. I thoroughly enjoyed your playlist, and I too would make one if I wasn't so lazy.
#3
I'll make one.

It won't be very p0nx. But It'll be awesome.

Give me a sec.

EDIT: All my songs are scattered over three computers one of which is in the mail ATM.

It could be a while.

"Muxtape" is a really creepy word.

I don't know. The word "mux" just makes me uncomfortable for some reason.

Oh, I remember blackflag made a thread for this. I was supposed to do one but I never did. I have to convert things to mp3, cuz iTunes ripped everything from CDs as MPEG-4 or whatever. =/

Same here, 'cept I don't know how. Do you need special software?

make copies of the songs that you want to upload then convert them using a free converter. Google whatever format "(aac, wma, m4a etc.) to mp3" and download the program.

Their terms of service creeps me out.

"Muxtape is a service for creating mixtapes. Users may not upload multiple songs from the same album or artist, or songs they do not have permission to let Muxtape use. Individual users may not create multiple muxtapes. Accounts not meeting these restrictions are subject to termination without notice. Muxtape will never reveal your email address to a third party. Muxtape is alive."

lol, I knew that someone would point that out. I was born in 88 so I use it on a lot of my names for websites and whatnot. I didn't notice the HH thing until later so I was just like whatever, Hitler was a douche, the year of my birth>some silly neo-nazi ****.

Yeah it is unless you buy the original release. I really need to get The Original Modern Lovers though, it has some of their more raw recordings like http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4H4p3lmTLyE

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QHv8Rok9UfA&feature=related (this version of Roadrunner is the best imo)

Cool mix. Or should I say mux? Anyway, that's the first time I've actually heard a song by The Kind of Jazz Music that Kills. Very cool, I liked it a lot.

+1, and I also liked Rice Harvester a lot. BTW thanks for all the Bent Outta Shape recommendations whyvern. Do you know the name of one of the bands that formed after they broke up? Something like "_____ Looks" I remember hearing one super good song by them on the old bent outta shape myspace but the page is down and I can't find the band now.

RICE HARVESTER are awesome, they're an older Huntsville band and all the members still play music today. Ben went on to be in PINE HILL HAINTS and THE COUNTERCLOCKWISE, Greg was in ONE REASON, THE GRUMPIES and ALLERGIC TO BULL**** and Harry went on to be in ADD/C (as of now) and JARVIS.

The bands that formed after BENT OUTTA SHAPE were THE DIRTY LOOKS (people from BENT OUTTA SHAPE and CRYBABY MACARTHUR) and THE YOUNG MEN (I think it was Jaimie and someone from RINGERS) Both of those bands broke up but some of the people from THE DIRTY LOOKS are now in BLONDE AMBITION (i think that's the name) in Oakland.
HELP ME I'M TRAPPED IN A HUMAN BODY!

Oh thanks, guess I'll be sending some cash for The Dirty Looks' ST and split with Bossy

I used to make sweet mix tapes, but my mom broke my double tape deck.
