I've just recently been trying out for a band on bass. I've been borrowing my friend Peavey TNT 130 just for the try out.

Well I made it and now I need a giggable amp on a budget of about 500-600. Can this be done?

I know very little about wattages need for a show on bass. Can anyone help me?

well i have Hartke kickback 15".

it's a great amp, simple controls, nice and loud. plus you can plug it into a house system if needed.

and it was about $600.

Don't like the Peavey? If you do, then get one. They are great gigging amps.

okay so i've decided for i'm going to get the ashdown mag 4X10 cab.

I don't know what combo to pair it with. The MAG with the 15 inch or the 2X10.

OR

should i just get a head instead of a combo?

EDIT: i've found a way to increase my budget to about 800 dollars

wait so are you gettin the 4x10 combo or just the cab?

because your going to need to pair that with a head anyway
