I just found out that my dog has cancer, we've only had him a year but he's part of the family. My mother didn't bother getting pet insurance until 2 or 3 months ago AFTER the tumor had arrived, she's not on housing benefits so she cant get it cured via the PDSA. The next thing is she wants to have him put down rather than give him to the RSPCA or the Spaniel society, so i'm asking would it be better to give him to the RSPCA or the Spaniel society or have him put down? Also if u can think of some way we could cure it cheaply that would also be of use.
this is the stickyest incident since stick the sticky stick insect got stuck on a sticky bun

my parents brought our dog to a farm, where he can play all day long!

I think the best thing to do is put him down... that's what I'd do anyway.

Man, that's tits on a whale

There wouldn't be anything cheap you could do... but would the dog survive if you removed the tumour, or is it pretty much uh screwed either way. (sorry the wording for that seems kind of bad..)

really man, you have my deepest sympathy, but the best thing for the dog would be to put it down. dont let it suffer. as hard as it is, its the right thing to do.

I am really sorry to hear that, friend. My first dog had a tumor as well and since she was old and the tumor was enormous we had to put her down. It was a sad day, but I took comfort from the fact that she was no longer suffering.

I'm really sorry to hear that. I don't have any pets of my own, but my gf is really attached to her pets. Sometimes I honestly believe she loves them more than me, so I can only get an idea of how you feel right now.

I wish you the best of luck.

Our first dog died of cancer two years ago. I've known that animal since I can remember my life. It sucked

But we have other dogs now. I know they'll never be as the first one, but it's always nice to have them around. I love dogs
