Hey,

I recently picked up a Washburn WI64 in a trade. It's a nice guitar, and it already has an SD pearly gates in the bridge position.
But, I find the neck pickup to be a bit muddy and undefined. Which is a problem since I use the neck pickup alot. So, since i'm not too well educated on too many different pickups, I thought i'd ask for some help here.
It's a humbucker sized slot, and I just want something with a bit more chime and top end then what's in it now.

I was thinking of experimenting with those GFS humbucker-sized P90's. Opinions?

I don't have a budget nailed down yet, but I don't want to be buying bareknuckles because I have speakers to save up for. So, my budget probably would be 100 USD or less, but i'd really prefer something like 40 bucks like GFS's

PS: I play mostly blues and classic rock, so I want something with a lower output.

^That's why I wanted to try out those GFS ones. Particularly the Mean 90's.
But, i'm thinking of another pearly gate in the neck position, since it does have a nice tone in the bridge.

Phat Cats have a nice tone. they're humbucker sized P90s. they're good for neck or bridge.
