I got this new tuner. Here's the problem:

I would like to tune down half a step. Now there is no flat button, however there is an option to select hertz. Is there a correlation between hertz and what would be a flat button?

If it's a chromatic tuner, just tune down until it says:

d#
A#
F#
C#
G#
D#
GHOST BLOWJOB!
WHOOO! WOOOOOOOOOOOO!

hertz are not the same as flats..... hertz is the frequency of the sound waves.....

but to get the tuning they may go with the enharmonic note of the flat... which as he said up there would be that... but here's all the notes and the one's with slashes are enharmonic to each other "the flat and sharps"

E E#/F F#/Gb G G#/Ab A A#/Bb B B#/C C#/Db D D#/Eb E

hope that helps... if you need a better explanation just pm me, or ask on this thread i'll try to keep an eye out for it.
