Lol, I almost made an account to troll there but you have to get permission and stuff and give them your email.
I'm the same as I was when I was six years old
And oh my god I feel so damn old
I don't really feel anything

There was a thread one this awhile ago, right? In my more lurking days.

but what do you think of CONSERVATIVE PUNK?
i'm a registered user on there, most users on there aren't even conservative or punk. :P

So so true... I've posted there for a few years now... Longer than I've posted here. Most users are libertarian and don't even like hardly any punk... I go there to talk about random **** and politics.. I come here to talk about music.

Haha, I know because one post here about how I think the government should abolish income tax and welfare and some guy says he hopes I end up very poor. So I say, I was poorer than you will ever be when I was young....and I get sorta flamed, lol.
Anyway, its not pretty.

I think this is great! people should learn to think for themselves and accept other people's differences.

Liberals don't piss me off nearly as much as conservatives. I hate tyhem both, but at least liberals have others in mind, and not only themselves, abliet being misguided.

I can't say I like these conservative/liberal websites. Nothing I like more than reading "Oh look the opposing side did something stupid what a bunch of dumb****s!" and in the next article "random political person attacks our side with hate-speech. Why can't they be civilized like us?"

Yeah, that gets old real fast.

Symphonie Fantastique is a great, extremely twisted symphony though.

I´ve told him before, he said he got his name from Aristocats. Hector Berlioz = ****

to topic: Conservative Punk is ****, if you like to listen to punk, dress punk etc. it´s funny if you cannot associate with the attitudes. Maybe it´s again my German hyperpolitical view on punk, but I think it´s hypocritical to be a conservative and listen to for example MDC or Leftover Crack.
Furthermore I don´t like the opinions of conservatives and I also dislike economicaly liberals.

Absolutely, they should save that sort of mudslinging for the really good stories. The kind that ruin careers and so on. Like when that reverend who hated gays and often talked about how they shouldn't be allowed to marry was exposed as a closet homosexual and meth abuser by the drug dealing male prostitute he was ****ing.

Or that politician who got caught smoking crack in a motel with a prostitute and yelled "The bitch set me up!" in his defense when the cops raided the room.

Or that politician from NY who launched a huge mudslinging campaign against and opponent and accused him of spending public money on private luxuries. He himself was later found to be spending public money on a private helicopter and soon after it was uncovered that he also ran a high end prostitution ring.

The kind of joy and hilarity that stories of those types bring us transcends political boundaries. I forgot all of the names but you all probably know these stories anyway.

you musn't know the definition of liberal than conservative.
on a social/moral scale i would much rather be a liberal. which is what i am presuming you mean, in which you are correct.
on an economic scale, liberalism goes against everything the DIY ethic stands for.
The government holding your hand through your life and telling you you can't drive cars because they hurt the environment is far from DIY.

Driving cars and supporting big oil which oppresses people all over the place isn't DIY either.

Well, ya-see, I'M NOT A LIBERAL. But liberals take in socialist ideas, and since I am quite a communist in the sense that communism and anarchy are essentially the same thing, differing where communism takes more time, and anarchy is faster.

which is why i plan on converting my car to hydrogen once i get the plans all drawn up.
paying 50% of your income to the government is less DIY than driving a car that gets you places you need to go. Big Oil isn't super evil. They're just annoying. They aren't even the cause of high gas prices anyway. Its a number of reasons too complicated to explain.

communism and anarchy aren't quite the same thing.
anarchy is an individualist society absent of rulers.
communism is a collectivist society absent of an official state ruled by workers.

I don't like either of those things.

I ride a bicycle.

i never knew not being left wing would get me into so much hot water.
:P
i'm not even right wing. i just find all these little contradictions that left wing economics cannot explain. (its not even economics as much as it is using the government to do things people should do theselves)

I think you're pigeonholing people and accusing them of having views they might not necessarily have.

It's impossible for me to ride a bike in my town. It takes me 20-30 minutes to drive across town, so riding a bike would take forever. I carpool as much as possible, and avoid driving when I can.

Anarchy is whatever it can be. You put a conservative, individualized spin on it because you believe all humans want to be alone in their lives. Of course, it isn't true, because then there wouldn't be unions for workers, socialized healthcare, or even the idea of socialism itself.

yeah i live in a place where riding a bicycle will make you late to work.

maybe i am pidgeonholing, but i never get flamed for not being left wing in the real world. i'm not even conservative i just thought this would be interesting to talk about.
i guess i read too much Maximum Rock n Roll. because it makes all punks seem like liberals.

No, anarchy is absence of rule. Which is individualist, because even if it becomes collectivist it still requires individuals to make the decision to join that collective freely.
I used to really think Socialism was a good idea. But it just seems so futile and too full of rules.

Riding the bike won't make you late to work if you leave earlier. Don't make excuses for yourself. Just say it's difficult for you to change your lifestyle to riding a bike.

That's like when homophobic people say that they aren't homophobic, they just think gays shouldn't have equal rights to straight people.
